As promised, I will answer the questions that I posed in my post “Questions to Ask Before Joining Direct Sales“. I will answer them to the best of my knowledge.
Previous questions answered!
One of the first and obvious things to address is how you feel about the products. I love everything about every style that I own, And I own quite a lot. That was why I decided to become a consultant! But there is more to consider!
The current wait time is between 6 and 8 weeks. That might sound like a long wait time, but you’ll be thankful for it! You can do a lot of prep work while waiting, including, but not limited to, training! Learning as much as you can BEFORE your inventory shows up is very beneficial!
The initial cost starts around $3500. All of this depends on what different styles you may want to carry. You do have options with your initial order, but there is a required minimum. The $3500 is the cheapest way to go, but not necessarily the way you would want to go. Look at the list of options, decide what would be best for you! This goes hand in hand with how much inventory you want to carry, and the sizes in each. Openly discuss all of this with your sponsor! She can give you some guidance, but the ultimate decision has to be made by you!
Picking a sponsor is probably the hardest decision to make! Each one does things differently, and you will, too! That’s what makes it so great! Check Sassy Direct, too! There are a lot of consultants listed there! If you can find someone local, or at least reasonably close, I would start there! Finding someone near you, will be beneficial for both of you! Work on building a relationship with her! Reach out to some, ask what you want to know and go from there. Ask questions! There is no question too big or small when you’re investing in your future!
If you want a list of supplies I recommend, read “Checklist!” here. Remember, these are only recommendations! You will need to decide what you will need, and how much you want to purchase up front, and what can wait until later! For more basic information, read “What Happens Next“, “Everything is Sorted” and “Apps for Photo Editing“. These are mainly for LuLaRoe, but most of the information in these articles will help in what ever you pursue!
