Did you ever wonder what questions to ask before signing up for Direct Sales? Is it okay to just jump right in? Do you really want to start out that way? Unfortunately, that’s exactly what I did! So I want to point you in the right direction, or at least guide you with some of the questions I wish I had asked!
There are so many things to consider before taking the plunge!
First things first, how much time do you have to invest, or want to invest? Is this going to be a full time thing, or just a side hustle for some extra cash? Is this inventory based, or do customers buy from your site?
LuLaRoe is strictly inventory based, meaning you buy the clothing from the company, then market it to your customers. Here are some questions to consider. How do I feel about the products? What is the initial start up cost? Is there a certain amount of inventory I should carry?
Where am I going to do most of my selling? Am I going to do Facebook Groups and basically sell online? Should I do vendor events? How long does it take to get in? Who should I get to be my sponsor?
What do I need to do while I’m waiting in the queue? What additional supplies do I need? How many styles do I want to carry? How many of each size and style do I need?
And one of the biggest questions, and one I DID NOT think about, is where am I going to keep everything? Depending on just how much inventory you would want to carry, it can fill an entire room! Do you have that room?
Do some research!
Each person you ask will probably tell you different things, so you have to take everything in to consideration before you decide! My biggest advice is to do your research. Take your time deciding!
